Magnificent You Series - In Touch with YOURself

singles.advice.true

Getting in touch with your true identity and being your authentic self is the greatest gift.

In the chapter devoted to the greatness of single women, I share a story about one of the many women who I’ve worked with that came to the discovery that she knew very little about her unique essence. She was completely detached from the spirit of her life.  In a world that thrives on getting more and doing more, her realization is shared by many women. We often conform to this influence while still assuming the primary caregiver role.  I talk about some of the other common barriers preventing far too many women from living fully.

“Being a treatment centre, these women were addicted to mood-altering chemicals and/or unhealthy relationships, paralyzed by fears, guilt, shame, low self-esteem, post-traumatic stress resulting from abuse histories, anxiety, depression, over-extension of themselves, and so on.  Many of these women had yet to discover their own separate sense of self.” ~ Singles Guide to Greatness

Magnificent women reach out to touch new possibilities. Step forward into a light that illuminates all that you are most passionate about. You just need to believe that you are deserving and that awakening the story guided by your heart will reveal the joy you were meant to experience.

Magnificent You Series - New Year…New You?

Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars and to change the world.

The way of the Creative works through change and transformation, so that each thing receives its true nature and destiny and comes into permanent accord with the Great Harmony: this is what furthers and what perseveres. ~Alexandar Pope

As we welcome 2011, many people are asking themselves “Does a New Year mean that a new me is required?” My belief is that our lives exist for the primary purpose of constant growth in a variety of unique ways. The beginning of a new year might provide the stimulus for change, but anytime that you step forward in the direction of your potential you’re contributing to the most magnificent you possible.  The movement doesn’t require a complete overhaul or represent major life decisions. It might be conscious attention to enhance daily habits that nourishes, revitalizes or restores your mind, body, and spirit. Think of your life as an adventure where new discoveries add to your present experience - as long as you are willing to embrace movement as part of the process.
