Living Well Series - You Are in Charge

Take the time to recuperate and live life with joy and vitality.

The power to live well is within you.

More than ever before, our bodies are exposed to higher levels of chemicals, pollutants, bacteria, and a host of other elements that lead to poor health. So many people are living in a continuous state of “just don’t feel well” and “I just don’t have the energy”. The air we breathe, the foods we eat, and the company we keep all amount to your bottom line. As the season provides us with a natural energy boost with longer periods of sunlight and warmer weather to enjoy it directly, this is the ideal time to replenish what has been lacking, remove what has been toxic and rejuvenate what has been ignored. I know that the time is perfect for me! Here are some tips to get you started:

  1. Start by reflecting on your overall well-being. How are you feeling on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level?
  2. Based on your reflections, what would you like to change? What could be better, contribute to greater energy levels and lead to improved health?
  3. Set some small goals related to these areas for improvement.
  4. Establish the steps that you will need to take to achieve these goals?
  5. Know what will work for and against you in your efforts? (and plan accordingly)
  6. Give yourself credit for progress and encouragement for set backs.
  7. Find a partner who shares similar goals and support each other.
  8. Celebrate!
